about the time my youngest son became a graduate of Gerber, who became suddenly alone. I remember the days of crazy like a crash course in personal finance, divorce law, and thus, pulling my socks. But the hardest thing of all? Truth? Dinner.
I started the journey of a single mother with one year old and a boy of four years, and after a long day at the nursery, that were not always the most friendly dinner companions. Here are some survival tips on the road I took.
Involve in preparation time. During the week, the hours between home and sleep are a whirlwind, and it is hard to feel that you are getting enough time with their children. As much as I could, I prepare the food in something to my children and I could do together. I taught them to set the table, and foods such as pizza made where they could spread the sauce and sprinkle cheese on its own. (I wish I had all Yum ideal for children ?got it!? Ideas at the time.)
Make it a special occasion. The good news is that even the most faithful companions of the parents never going to argue with you about Mardi Gras or the Night of Meerkat Manor Marathon. So serve pancakes, use accounts and playing jazz in the Mardi Gras. Have a picnic on safari in your living room and take a walk on the side with wild meerkats.
